Herd Information

If you would like to create a herd please fill out the form below and reply to this post with it. To start a new herd you must have a group of at least 3 different members with at least 5 separate characters between them that have agreed to start a herd. You also need to have at least 1 in character thread in which all the characters decide to start a herd and claim their herd land. Each land can only be claimed by 1 herd. There is a cap to how many herds are allowed based on how many active members the site has. As the site grows more herd slots will open up.

It's up to you to determine your herd rules and structure. You can create any type of herd you'd like - a traditional herd, a herd of only mares, etc. When initially forming your herd the herd leader must be agreed upon by all the members of the herd. The herd leader is responsible for making the post creating the herd. If you have an idea for a herd you can post a thread in this board looking for other people to join your herd.

Once your herd has been approved a separate board will be created for your herd within whichever land your herd has claimed. It's up to the herd leader to make a post in this board detailing the herd rules and keeping track of the members and their positions in the herd. The herd leader should be someone who can stay fairly active and keep any herd wide plots or threads going. Future herd leaders will be determined based on the rules of the herd.

herd expansion

If your herd is growing and needs more space, you can claim more land! There are a few requirements to meet before doing so however. First of all, the size of the herd:

• 10 active members - claim 1 additional land
• 20 active members - claim 1 additional land
• 30 active members - claim 1 additional land

If your herd has reached a size that a new land can be claimed, you can claim any land that is directly connected to your currently claimed lands. You can reference the map here if you're unsure if the lands are connected.

If the land you would like to claim isn't currently claimed by another herd, you just have to post a thread in the land claiming it. Then, fill out the form below and reply to this thread with it and staff will mark the land as claimed by your herd.

If the land you would like to claim has already been claimed by another herd your herd leader will have to challenge the other herd's leader to a fight to determine who gets the land. If your herd leader wins, fill out the form below and reply to this thread with it and staff will mark the land as claimed by your herd.
