Werifesteria is a dog roleplay set in a fictional town by the name of Kah’ren. You will follow along with the lives of a city full of canines that have found themselves in a seemingly impossible new world free of humans.
For many years, Man and Dog were at war with one another in the town of Kah'ren. The dogs were too numerous and the humans saw them as nothing more than a small canine plague that needed to be removed for Public Health. The dogs, however, were bold and clever and would cling to life on the outskirts of the town. They would steal from Man when he let his guard down. Eventually, the town decided that enough was enough. They rounded up as many dogs as they could in an uprecendented, massive raid, fully intending to remove the problem of "strays" once and for all. The dogs were quickly boarded into the local animal shelter to await their fate. No one could have predicted what came next.
One fateful day in early January when the snows were still falling across the ferry town of Kah'ren, an earthquake shook the land, setting off a chain of bizarre and unexplainable events. Several buildings, including the local animal shelter, were broken apart.
The animals inside fled for safety. As the world settled, they began to notice that an eerie quiet had overtaken their own. No humans had emerged to survey the damage or call for loved ones...and they never would. The humans were gone. Upon investigation another shocking discovery was made. The town of Kah'ren had been completely severed from the rest of the civilized world. Instead of roads and highways, neighborning cities and towns, Kah'ren was now surrounded by miles of untouched wilderness. This wilderness bled right into the town, even into houses and streets.
It was as if the entire town was scooped away from Earth and deposted neatly onto a planet otherwise untouched by mankind. Only those inside of the shelter that day were transported to the New World. Was this the Gods having mercy on the victims of the raid? Or was it the town's way of getting rid of the dogs once and for all?
The dogs of Kah'ren are now unsure of what to do. Stray packs were split apart. Pets were separated from their beloved humans. Friendships severed. Even parts of the city that dogs once claimed as their territories are entirely gone, replaced with wilderness. Will the dogs of this strange new world band together and form packs to survive their new world? Or is it every dog for himself?
